I am at the hospital today for the follow up from my lobectomy. Keeping fingers crossed biopsy results are good and I won't need further treatment. Jan xxx

I have the results, T2b NO MO type.

My surgeon assures me he has removed all the cancer but as it had gone into the pleura (the lining of the lung) he advises I have chemo.

I have an appointment with the oncologist on Friday to discuss the chemo.

Hi Jan, I realise your post was eight months ago I was just wondering how you are doing?  I am stage 4 lung with ALK mutation and have just started crizitonib. What stage where you? I've been told in the past I'm inoperable but can this change?
