Oh, sorry but I had to laugh - really expected you to say he got the towel for you! I see where his priorities lie! I'm sure he loves you really, sounds like my husband, just thinks we are OK. have a good rest now, you have done your exercise for the day. iris x

I daresay he thought he was helping you by doing it himself, men think in mysterious ways :-)

take care

I don't think I would be taking the dog for a walk on a day its raining.

Typical man! You should feel proud of yourself traipsing about in the rain! ☔️ Bet the dog appreciates you! 😉

Have a nice rest now, you deserve it! 🌺

Typical man!!! My husband ignored me when I finally got up late yesterday! Threw loads of washing down the stairs so I wouldn't trip. He did not say a word or pick up washing (to be fair he had been quiet for two hours so I could sleep, otherwise would have been up scaffolding painting high gables - he is 73!) I asked why did you ignore me. He answered I looked at your face and knew you were in a mood I did not want to laugh or cry I was just feeling so poorly. I definitely think Men are from Mars and Women from Venus, but I definitely think we understand them more than they do us. I have definitely left that one open as every man says women do not think logically. We do get to the same point. Just take a different route and mult-task on the way.Kaye

Got to admit the towel episode made me smile because if it's raining or the grass is wet I put the dog towels in the tumble dryer to get warm for when hubby brings the dogs back.Lol

I know you would have felt it was heartless of him. I sometimes don't have the energy to walk our dog, through the Fibro pain in my legs, and the 3 men in the house will start to bicker about who's turn it is, or isn't to do it. Meanwhile, the poor dog, will be crossing it's legs and eyes.

I get mad and just get my coat on and then, one of them will feel guilty and say, "I'll take him" but, I'm stubborn and I'll insist it doesn't matter now, and do it myself, in a huff.

I tell myself, I needed to exercise my lungs anyway and actually feel good for pushing myself. But, I do simmer a bit at them, for making me do it.

You'd think they would be able to tell how bad we feel, without us having to repeatedly, tell them, we don't feel up to it today. I've learned, that's never going to happen. In fact, my lot tend to offer to do it when I'm feeling ok. Baffling!!!

Ha! You know I think we all do silly things like that at times and appear thoughtless! I suppose he thought the dog would make more mess than you so needed to be dried first! Ha ha! Glad to say the sun is shining here at the moment! Hope you get some good weather soon.

Oh dear, it is me who rushes to dry George when husband has taken him out in the rain. If I don't, George will jump on our bed and do roly poly over and under the duvet. He is so nimble it is well nigh impossible to catch him.
