Hi all, and thank you so much for your kind messages of support. I am still in hospital as I still have two drains in but am now starting to feel human again! Let battle commence lol

I think you'll find that you'll feel a lot better once the drains are out. If they're on suction it's quite uncomfortable - and it's a huge nuisance when you have to carry a bucket of blood everywhere with you!

I hope you have a good recovery.

Thank you the drains had to be on suction as I developed surgical emphysema and finished up looking like the Michelin man lol x
