Have people been getting these new function 'See who's near you' emails from Joel at HU? well, apparently there's no one near me (Bath/Bristol) or they haven't joined up yet ("They'll be along in a minute"). I can't believe there's no one on this site in the West although I tried last year. It seems like a good idea to me as isolation can be a problem for us. We could have a party, experiment with inhalers! Anyway, feel free to pm me if you're in the area or try support@healthunlocked.com

Yes Ive had this too, notlocal. And no-one had registered for it when i last checked.

I wonder if there is some reluctance following the problems we've had recently on the forum which certainly make me a little wary of taking part in this new initiative, and that's sad as i like the idea of meeting up. Although i don't have a problem with isolation, many do. And its always nice to be with people who understand what you're going through and where you don't have to explain yourself.

Maybe it will take off a bit later, it may not feel like the the right time just now.

No, me neither but the winters can be a bit isolating. At what point are you isolated enough to welcome a stalker? I didn't know you had to register. Maybe I'll do that and see if anything happens.

Hi 02, I was confused also. Pepa replied that it was a matter of unclicking a box and following a link. I think it could do with more explanation on their part but I think these are just teething difficulties.

Hi notlocal,

We have identified what is the issue.

Could you please uncheck on your settings page healthunlocked.com/settings where it says Allow other users to see my approximate location.

After doing this please access People near me again healthunlocked.com/people-n...

Let me know if this works.

I have had the same thing notlocal so it cannot be properly set up yet. There are others near me but I can't remember who they are and they are not mentioned on here now. xx
