On the home page there is somewhere you can click which says 'People near me'. I've clicked on it, but nothng happens, apart from the usual tut-tutting noises from the modem. Has anyone used this function with success?

People Near me?

I have. Maybe there is no one near you? Where do you live?

I have, it should bring up a map and a list of people who have set their location. All distances are approximate though. Take care, Richard
There are some issues with the site itself that stop some people, myself included, from using certain features like this. It seems to be a combination of a Google Chrome 'adblocker' and my anti-virus software (ESET NOD32) that block system routines. I have to turn these off for a few seconds, click the option I want, then put them back on!
It happens with the 'reply to this' option in blogs and questions, trying to send someone a private message, listing 'recent activity' beyond the first 20 and a few other options here.
I have put healthunlocked.com in the list of allowed domains, but their software seems to go through a list of other domains as well when you click something, I ran a trace and got 7 different domains, including Facebook and Twitter
It's been reported to site team but they must have been busy on other things.
The other possibility on the 'people near me' option is that you've not set your own location yet ?
Neither can I get onto it. I live in Monmouthsire, NP26. Perhaps we can keep it going on this thread for now?
The above message blew my simple brain, Gordon Simply, I live in Royston, Herts near the Heath. A simple PM will find me. Love Anne 80x
Yep, I live in Bracknell, and was proud to say so!
IT WORKS!!! Decided to have another go, clicked on it and nothing happened so went to get a cup of tea - I came back and there it was! There are 4 people within 5 miles of me, and 9 within 10 miles. Unfortunately none of them were names I recognised, none of the 'regulars' I mean.
Thanks Sylvsmum. Will try again now.
