I have made today national smile day and everyone has to smile to at least one face that smiles back, right a little hint if you are stuck indoors for one reason or another and are on your own, go up to the nearest mirror and give a great big smile and hopefully you will get one back if you do that's your quota done.Right away you go then just don't sit there reading.
Ok are you back, good well the sun is shining already here in Devon at 0630 but it forgot the heat as its dare I say it bloody freezing I have had to put my winter dressing gown back on, but the good point is that its dry. Not sure whats on the cards for me today as its far to early to think of whats what.
I was reading about this girl, not sure about the colour of her hair, I will leave that up to you to decide, anyway she went to the doctors because she kept having this same recurring dream, each night she would dream she was in a hotel being chased by a load of vampires, she would run down the hallway to this door at the end and no matter how hard she pushed it, it would not budge.
The doctor had sat there listening to her then said "Was there a number or name on the door" the girl said "there was'nt a number or name just some letters" right" said the doctor "what were the letters"
"P U L L" said the girl.
Right you are you happy smiling bunch enjoy your day what ever it is you are doing, unless you are in a different time zone then have a good sleep.

Pleased you are meeting some lovely people and also that you are still popping back to us here. Stay positive as that light at the end of the tunnel is burning brightly xxx Fred
Sure is. Being bored Sunday evening set my emergency ops to a test. Wow what a team from the on call Registrar at Guys to the sensible Receptionist at A& E at my local hospital who sat me in a room on my own away from infections. All the other members of the team. Communication between Guys and my A&E brilliant. Spent 24 hours in hospital. Not chemo related low sodium. Had 8 hours IV infusion. Bloods A&E tomorrow chemo fingers crossed Friday. Feel better than I have for months. Love Suzy/Wxxxx
They know how to treat a lady, mind you I had the same sort of thing but was caused by me not drinking enough fluids and was kept in for a couple of days , mind you I was also put in a single ward and spoiled rotten. That's great news you are feeling good, stay that way Love Fred xxx
Morning Fred, made me smile π . Sat here on my nebuliser, going to the doctors at 10 o'clock for her to tell me the results of my chest X-ray all I know at the moment from my cold special nurse is it showed at White mass. I also live in Devon whereabouts are you?.... Jan
I am sure the results will be fine Jan and if they are not they will be sorted by the people that know. I am at Teignmouth which is the town I was born in and grew up in, not a very exciting place as you might know, but that will depend which area you are in. Be positive
I am retired now Jan its a laugh really a police station in the library, so if your naughty are you put in the children corner or have they got a naughty step, mind you we have not even got that at Teignmouth.
Mornin abit early today slept from 3 am to 7 lovely needed it, you must dream jokes,ha,I have no routine in my life Free spirit Retired!! Do what I like when I like wonderful ,makes me want to be happy everyday, life is so precious,to live everyday with a positive spirit and give out joy to people around is what we can do to make life a better place to live, with all the sufferings in the world, This is good breathing weather for me to get out today to waitrose and take some food to my mum who lives here that's why I live here at the moment, she is old needs some cheering up so I actually told her a joke,I'm not good at them, anyway ,Enjoy you live in a beautiful part of the country ,I've always been connected to the sw part as I have lots of relatives there where I go for holiday,Dorset. To live near the sea is magical. Always in love with the sea never trust it ,very powerful .speak later ,wonderful day.x
Colours enjoy the weather agree its great to be retired and not tied down with work anymore, hope your mum is well. I also must agree with you about the sea, having been involved with it all my life, grew up with it, joined the navy and stayed for 25 years, you just got to have respect one days its so inviting then so quickly its a killer. I often laugh when people say well you were in submarines so you never had it rough, well strange as it might seem it gets rough under the sea like above. Stay happy xx
Hi Fred, good tip about the smiling, pull joke is funny, so i may read it again and watch myself laugh. Dave fine at dentist, me i am visiting chiropodist later. We lead exciting social lives. I don.t know why you can buy narrow shoes in usa, could be something to do with bigfeet tribe. Which reminds me, in the book Sarum, about generations of people living around Salisbury, through history the neer do well Wilsons appear, they all have the long toes _ i wonder but surely not. Mine have been described as prehensile. Can.t wait for parcel post around Thursday. Love Margaret x
Nice one Iris it wont be long before we are all finishing our good mornings with a daily joke. I keep getting told by the women in my life (all family) that I need my hearing tested, but I think that are all talking softly. xxx
I agree, people just mumble, talk with strange accents, but recently I was talking to a friend and she said her son had been knocked out. I sympathised and asked how it had happened, and she said he'd forgotten his key! Definitely time to get tested. Love Iris x
Good Morning to you Fred, very cold that wind is!ππππ I'm smiling at your joke todayπππππ and I'd walk a million miles for one of yours! Hope you have a good day, I'm on a mission to clean this house today ππππ hugs. huff xxx
Right you are huff cleaning time, so you tidy up, then hoover which causes dust, so you move the dust to another place, then the sun comes out and there is the dust all back again so are you wasting your time, sit back and have a cuppa and think about it. Byeeee for now xxx
Sorry I am late polly its when the reflection pulls a face first you have to worry, still rather cold here and just heard the weather man say we are in for rain tonight. Fresh Devonshire cream cakes if not Devon any cream will do. Enjoy xxx
I am smiling as I type Fred, yes I can multi task! We have had a lovely day here but it was very chilly this morning and the wind is a bit keen now. Pete had his lovely new wheelchair delivered today so I can push him around (I do that anyway) after his back surgery. It is on loan via the wonderful NHS so thanks to them for that.
Have a lovely evening as it is 5.30pm now. Been a bit busy today.
I don't know about the wind being a bit keen its freezing here, and rain due later. Good news for Pete getting the chair in readiness, but we men are used to being pushed around by you ladies. Enjoy your evening xxx
