One day Mr Tipton rushed his pregnant wife over to the hospital.
As the doctors were prepping his wife, Mrs Tipton's brother in law, Wayne, arrived to be there to congratulate his sister. The birth went ahead fine with Mrs Tipton giving birth to two healthy twins. However when Mr Tipton saw the afterbirth, he fainted and cracked open his his head.
Later Mr Tipton woke up in bed with the doctor standing above him .
Mr Tipton the doctor said, "we've performed surgery and you are going to be fine".
"But what about my wife--and the babies " he said, suddenly remembering.
"Don't worry, your wife is fine and so are the twins" . replied the surgeon "you have a handsome boy and a beautiful baby girl. and their already named because when you were unconscious, and your wife was still under the anesthesia, she requested that her brother Wayne name the kids".
"NO!",, NOT her brother! , Hes a complete idiot? I cant believe she let him!," Oh my god what did he name them?"
"He named your daughter Denise," relayed the surgeon.
"Hey, not bad!, perhaps i underestimated my brother in law. What did he name my son.?"
The surgeon said,,,"He named your son Denephew,"

But so true in what you say, especially living on your own,, It makes it a loooong painful night , but all the better for at least being able to converse with someone
oh its ruby so glad to see you, hope you are well, [as with everyone] i feel a lot better now than a few hours ago , thanks,, now need to catch up on things,
Glad you enjoyed, jessy at first reading your post thought it read "get a wee dram during the day" Then put my glasses on seriously might even just manage that later in the day, , the nap i mean
glad i made you smile jess. i actually stopped drinking 15 years ago, not that i've got anything against it,,,, but looking out at the rain today,, it is tempting
I'm doing ok thanks jimmy, could be better but im not worse π still bunged up, and Im really hoping I'm not allergic to my dog, I had to rehome my cats as QE said I was allergic to them, glad ur doing slightly better too, try and grab them forty winks when u can. Take care xx Sonia xx
You seem bit like myself Sonia, yes, the cold as well yuk, it most certainly doesn't help the breathing !
Its such a shame about your cats, lets hope your dog is ok, That's the worst of pets, we grow to love them, then it hurts to part with them.
i can only say i'm" slightly" better, still up with breathing and pain,,, but not as bad as it was , but very aggravating never mind we just need to make the best of each day, [as possible,,,, ouch my back ]
exactly what ill do later Sonia, try catch 40 winks later,, meanwhile need to catch up on things, its a "yukky" day here in scotland. take care Sonia.
i wish it were like that here now, its very dreich, cold wet and damp. here in scotland, yes maybe a good thunderstorm will clear the air,, in australia [just to let folks know ]
Thanks Jimmy, I too am taking steroids and antibiotics. Making tea at 4 .00 am. The steroids certainly keep you awake. Very tired though but wheeze not so bad so they do work
yes M6, i've been on and off them for years, you'd think i would get used to them, but no, same as you tea at 4am They do help, the breathing though, hate them, yet dread coming off them,, oh well you just cant win at times
many thanks, hope your breathing continues to improve,
Hi Anne , Many thanks,,, Glad you had a giggle Your much the same as myself, Could almost set the alarm to the times
Ive the same bone problem myself ,, that's me up again now,,, the 2am shift
lots of love jimmy xxx
Oh dear another poor sleeper! Daytime naps don't compensate for lying awake in the small hours, imagining everyone else doing their log impressions. Maybe we should start a Wide Awake Club? Love the joke
Its hard to get back on to a proper sleep pattern, its not just the steroids, its pain and breathing, Then shattered during the day, impossible not to nap, Even fighting against it,,, yes def,, we need to start a "wide awake" club
I'd join you at the Club right now Jimmy but am about to try for sleep! Just catch some whenever you can. I'm christening you Jimmy Mack after the Martha Reeves song which I like. Spose it should be Jimmy Mac though x
Yes routine is so important. If I don't sleep at night I get up late. It's a bad habit. Let's try and be firm with ourselves, then we can form the Fast Asleep Club
the problem with me is a night catheter bag lying outside one side of the bed, the oxygen tubing on the other, plus having to sleep in the sitting up position, i feel more like an egyptian mummy, cant move,, but been in pain of late too, ,, but def. no naps today, early night , steroids not helping sleep, but spoonful of oramorph, ,tonight , i,ll beat it yet !!
Bless you Jimmy, you certainly don't have an easy time of it. Just hope things can get a little easier for you and it always helps if you can get done sorry of sleep. Like you I have to be in the upright position (pardon the pun) to go to sleep. It drives me mad. Take care.
no need to apologise,sq,holt. i do that often, i knew what you meant though, yes it is awkward at times especially when in pain, so i just get up.
squirrel, see under the orange reply button, there a small v shaped arrow thingy if you press that, itll come up with delete or edit, if you press the edit, you get your post back to alter if need be,, hope that helps, but most certainly no harm done ,
