Does anyone know the answer to this, was awarded pip in Feb 2015 and in their letter said they would access me again in June, petrified to facing Atos again, they have all evidence that I have 4 chronic conditions which will not get better, has anyone else had this, glad of advice. Annette

Hi there. If you were just awarded it in feb this year it would be unusual to want to see you again in June. Check the date again on the letter. Is it not June in a couple of years ? Xxx
Oh thanks I will, you to xx
Phew! Glad that was easily dealt with angse. Have a lovely day and good weekend. xxx
Glad you can rest easy now,2 heads better than one, good on 2146,for having the answer! xxx
Yes Wendall's I can rest easy now, in my case sometimes three heads ate needed lol
Hi Angse, that,s still quite soon.Is there a miracle cure round the corner they,re not telling us about lol?Don,t be scared of the company doing the assessments that,s just what they want.If your health improves enough for you not to qualify you,ll be better off and if it does,nt you,ll still get the money,Don,t panic.Regards D.
Thanks farmerD yes they do want us scared to death, but no I don't have to be revived until next June 2016 should have looked properly and not panic, still my lesson is learned, these people are just human beings, I refuse to be intimidated again mThanks for advice !! Hope you are as well as can be
I was awarded PIP in February last year I am at stage 4 COPD but am getting assessed again this year! they seem not to understand the notion of a chronic disease - I will never get better (in fact in the last year I have got worse) all I can hope for is to cope a bit better (which as we all know is difficult and varies from day to day) - so cannot see the point of a further assessment - maybe they think I have made a miraculous recovery - if only - is just a nonsense - a waste of resources (our public money going to a private firm of course) and of course is causing me a lot of stress - which I really do not need. Anyway at least you can relax for a year - take care xx
Thank you Undine
I really appreciate your advice, yes I know they don't seem to understand the meaning of chronic, I have unfortunately 4 chronic diseases 2 of which are highly life threatening, they don't seem to care about the stress of trying to cope with it all, and basically trying to keep yourself alive, trouble is I do not look as if there is anything wrong with me at all, they should not go by that though as they have plenty of evidence from consultants at 2 hospitals, still with the help of everyone's advice here I will be ready for them next year, I sound brave as I have one year not to think about it. Keep well Annette
We can all hope this system is changed very soon
