I think you need to get checked out for obstructive sleep apnoea nanaof. One of the main symptoms is snoring. I don't know if more people with copd have it than those without. Often people snore more when they sleep on their backs; you could try staying on your side to see if that made any difference. There are a few members here who have it and they will be better able to advise you than me
I sleep on my side but unfortunately still happens
will see doc to see if I can be referred to getting checked for sleep apnoea thanks everyone for your help xx
Well my husband is the same now! Especially when he is on his back. Does it help if you sleep on your side? TAD xx
no I sleep on my side but will try anything x
Hi nanaof5, my hubby and daughter both snore loudly and neither have lung problems, my daughter went to the docs and was given a nasal spray which did help, but best get it checked properly for urself.
Xx sonia xx
My husband WAS a snorer PLUS was having restless leg syndrome. After doing a "sleep test", he was diagnosed with sleep apnea. He has been on a CPAP during the night for a couple of months now. After just a few days..........no more snoring and no RLS. We are BOTH sleeping better! Just a little humor.........I have COPD and am on oxygen during the night. My husband said "what if we get our hoses mixed up".
