I think you need to get checked out for obstructive sleep apnoea nanaof. One of the main symptoms is snoring. I don't know if more people with copd have it than those without. Often people snore more when they sleep on their backs; you could try staying on your side to see if that made any difference. There are a few members here who have it and they will be better able to advise you than me :)

no I sleep on my side but will try anything x

Hi nanaof5, my hubby and daughter both snore loudly and neither have lung problems, my daughter went to the docs and was given a nasal spray which did help, but best get it checked properly for urself.

My husband WAS a snorer PLUS was having restless leg syndrome. After doing a "sleep test", he was diagnosed with sleep apnea. He has been on a CPAP during the night for a couple of months now. After just a few days..........no more snoring and no RLS. We are BOTH sleeping better! Just a little humor.........I have COPD and am on oxygen during the night. My husband said "what if we get our hoses mixed up". :)
