Throat, musus

Having a lot of musus in my throat,tried everything and nothing works. I drink Lactose free fat milk and drink sm glass of OJ. Can't find no cure of the musus in my throat.Could OJ be causing the problem. What can I do next. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I find chocolate helps shift the mucus better than any thing.

Wow, orange juice? I cannot tolerate it, far too acid. You'd be better off trying some warm water laced with lemon juice which is alkaline. Or, if you don't fancy that just lay off the oj for a week to see if that helps.

Hi sweetcakes

I've always had bronchiectasis (64 years) and always had the throat-clearing business, thus not sleeping very well because of it. Since cutting out ALL sugar, including fruit juice, I've been much better.

I swear by my neti pot for clearing out my sinuses (it's not as gross as people think).

I've also been taking pure garlic capsules and nebulising with garlic, I'm convinced that's why I haven't had a cold this winter.

I take 3 AllicinMax capsules twice a day. The benefits of garlic are well known and I think AllicinMax capsules are superior to other garlic tablets.

I order Allimed liquid by phone on 0844 357 7337. This is their helpline and I usually speak to Norman who is extremely helpful. He will talk you through the benefits of allicin.

I put 15 drops in my nebuliser and it takes about 20-30 mins.

Hi sweetcakes. I had this problem and was recommended Native Remedies Mucus-Clear available from Amazon. It's not the cheapest but it has worked for me.
