I'm of to Newcastle on Monday for my 4 day accessent. Hopefully by Thursday i will be put on the list for lung transplant.

Thank you it will mean a new start of my life. I'm only 39 with 3 young kids. Hopefully the new lungs will come for me

I live about 60 miles from Newcastle which when you put it into context is pretty close???

If you need anything I am just over an hour away but might be able to help you out if you need someone.

Hey you can drop the 3 kids off on the way - they will come back covered in mud, exhausted and well fed.

That was my question. Birmingham was closer. But my consultant said Newcastle was the best place to be. To be honest they are so nice up there but it takes me nearly 3 hours to get there. Thank you that means so much. It will be hard while I'm up there having the transplant. Thank you again xx
