aerosure
There was a discussion about it a few weeks ago on this site, you can access the post by typing Aerosure in the search box.
I used a power breath in the past but not the Aerosure
I had one and found them a waste of money. Overpriced and useless, it's just another flutter machine. Luckily, I managed to sell mine on Ebay for almost the full price. Don't waste your money.
I too use a Power Breath which is only £20 or so, available on line. If you are disabled, you should be able to tick the VAT free box to further reduce the price too. You can't do that with Aerosure. Also with the power breath, if you Google it, you will be able to read about the device being used in various hospitals an some, I think Plymouth is one, allows you to print off more record and progress sheets. As far as I can see, if the NHS uses one device and not another, there must be a reason for it...it could be price but both devices are basically the same. Save your money and if you want to do something, get the cheap one.
Be carefull when you use it....a general rule is that you do not over use your lungs for up to 6 weeks after an infection but you can still set it up for a gentle exercise and then start building up again.
