I really enjoy this community to see how people in others parts of the world cope with this illness and how we all handle life in general, but The British Lung Foundation has been to good and grown so much that I now find it somewhat overwhelming and am searching for somthing smaller maybe here in the U.S, don't know i guess.

Hi Tvernstrom, understand what you are saying I have been with BLF since it was just a forum on their webpage. Now it is a worldwide thing sponsored by NHS and open to varied social websites. I agree with you it has become too big and very impersonal now. I attend a group in my home town and the same thing has happened to that. There are some USA sites but they seem as big, I would suggest sticking to a group who post that you get on with rather than trying to cover the whole site. Most of the ones I communicate with are regulars like myself. What ever you decide hope it helps in the future, best wishes.
When I first joined I felt compelled to comment on every single post, but I did find that overwhelming. Now, I comment on the posts that are relevant to my situation, and the ones that I feel I want to comment on Hope you stay with us I can't imagine not being here now
I lov e this sitr and didnt even know it was American.I am English and live on England but I do as suggested by Louisiana .Who by the way gave mr some helpful advisr a while ago.I am staying mags :-))xx
