A very big rat. People eat rats in parts of Thailand. I didn't add the link because it showed them being cooked.

They not the same as the ones in cities.
The rats they eat live mainly on rice...taste a bit like...chicken.
Is it a rat or a rabbit ?
LOL you might have found a new addition to your family 😊
It run off despite promising to stay and play before I opened the trap.
Why are your trapping cats? Why would you put that on here?
So did you let it go? Would be cruel to keep in a cage
Yes of course he let it go, he wanted a rat not a cat!
Sorry didn't read it correctly & was a bit upset to think a cat was kept in a cage!
Sure I know what mean.
15 years ago I live and travelled in China.
In an upmarket restaurant I went into with my wife and young children...my 6 year old son points to a cage with a cat in it and went over to see it.
I asked my wife what's it doing in here.........
Then I said ok just buy it and we can let it go near our home.
She laughed. .. she always laughed at my ideas. She asked how much money I had on me as they probably got a hundred out the back.....I bought the cat and cage with the condition that they did not bring any more out until we had left....my children were delighted and so was my wife as she took the cage back next day to reclaim the 100 yuen deposit.
Thank you
Just didn't care for the picture. Wouldn't put such a picture on here. I understand the post. No big deal.
Sorry
Sorry wedderburn, I do not think some people read your post title or your post before commenting. We to have had to put those traps out over the last few years after seeing holes in our garden but ours were rats!!!
Must admit if I had seen the cage, before realising it was a cat not a rat, I would have been in hysterics and fled! Wild horses would not have got me anywhere near that cage. Good job you were brave and got close enough to realise, and set it free.
I had just made a cup of tea and was holding it when I saw this thing in the cage move half of it went over my hand and down my leg...ha ha.
Thank you for your help and support. ..I have to be at the dentist soon must get ready.
Andyxxx😍
I glanced out of the patio window recently and found a small face peering at me around a plant pot.I instantly thought eek rat but it turned out to be a stout -feel so lucky to have seen it what a beautiful animal lucky we no longer have our pet rabbits though as could have been a stout snack.....!
