Manuka Honey since my post on this subject I have been ask where to I purchase my honey from its manukahoney.com that is registered and displays its licence number.

If you don't like taking honey they also do it in capsul form that's a bit cheaper, they do skin care product including ointment for dressing wounds burns etc.

Hope this information helps

Hi everyone interested in the manuka honey post, my husband has IPF would it be beneficial for him to take perhaps or is it just if you have chest infection ? Sorry to sound bit dumb?

I can see Holland and Barrett sell it, is there anything I would need to check to ensure its the real thing?

If buying online from website mentioned is that dispatched from UK.

This might sound a ridiculous thought but one of my lovely dogs has very sore paws which sort of erupt with red sores on top and underneath, vet has him on antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and me having to bathe in salt water, nothing is doing much good, wondered if trying the honey on his paws, what do you think?

Sorry to go on a bit but don't know much about this honey, thanks for reading, take care.

Re hubby Manuka honey May benifit him certainly won't harm if he is diabetic please consult your doctor, before using Manuka. Re your dog Manuka oitment or medical grade Manuka would help, problem would be stoping him licking it off, and yes it is from uk normaly by Royal Mail

But it is bottled and packed in New Zealand re honey for hubby why not run it by your practice nurse for peace of mind hope this information helps

Wont harm your dog - I have used it for all manner of cuts, grazes ad burns in my family and it has always worked. I now take it orally to help keep infections at bay. I am sure it will help your dog, but he will probably lick it off!:) All the best :_
