Hi all, it's di from downunder. I have been doing the H202 treatment for my COPD, I got to 12 drops in 8 ozs pure water 3 x day, the taste was very strong by then and very yukky. I have since found Oxy rich, this is premixed and very easy to take. I am not promoting this, just telling you all what I am doing. I am still very active, very positive and I tell my friends and family that I will NOT die from COPD, but with it. I am 60 years young, eat like a horse, feel awesome. Please try and stay positive if you can, COPD does not need to be a death sentence, it is very scary and yes very uncomfortable at times, but I am determined that I will not let this get the better of me, I have too much to live for. I still take Spiriva each morning, but that is all, and I am hoping to wean off this in time to come. I was also prescribed Onbreeze breeze haler 150 mgm to take every afternoon, I have not used this for the past 6 months, I don't need it. I trust that my body will keep me going along like this for many years to come, if not, well I tried.
I do admit to still having the occasional ciggie, very bad I know, but I am getting stronger everyday in my resistance to this curse and everyday the urge gets weaker, as soon as soon as I feel the urge I get up and do something and whammo, the urge is gone and I feel fine.
Good luck to all of us and I pray that we all live to be grumpy old people. :=)

Thankyou Louisiana, since March this year I have grown so strong, in mind and body. Back then I was 5'10" and weighed 7 stone, very depressed and unmotivated. After seeing my doc I decided that only I could change the outcome. Here it is 7 months later, I now weigh 9 1/2 stone, gone up 2 dress sizes and 2 bra sizes (10a to 12c ). I feel very confident now, have loads of energy, feel very happy with myself and my new body image. I take everything on board, dont stress anymore and smile a lot. This has really knocked me into shape and I will never go back to who I was. Stay well lovely and love life.
although i'm not sure about this treatment, simply because i don't know about it but i like the positive thoughts, i am an oap, on 4th stage copd [which doesn't mean much to me ] and like you i wont die FROM copd, but will die WITH it,, and hopefully by the grace of god that'll be a long time from now :D,,,, but one thing meant well,, please don't even attempt to have an occasional ciggy, hard as that may sound, you will most definitely reap the benefits if you dont,, believe me,, good luck my friend, take care,, jimmy
Thankyou jimmyw123, I will heed your advice. It is just so hard especially if I am having a wine or 2 with the girls. I try not to get too involved with my condition, I just listen to what my body tells me and work from there, as they say " nobody knows your body like yourself ". I wish you well also and I truly hope you live to be 100, I will
What stage of COPD are you and what improvements have you noticed with the HP treatment? You indicate your outlook and attitude is much improved but wondered about your breathing or if you have had a spirometry recently and if so if there is any significant change from before you started the HP.
I hope you don't mind all of the questions as I had considered the HP before as well and am still undecided so wouldn't mind hearing from someone that has been using it for a while.
Hi Jackdup. I was diagnised with a touch of emphysema at the end of March this year, my spirometry test showed obvious lung damage, but after speaking with the lung specialist, he said it was very normal result for someone who had smoked for 45 years. He also said he didnt need to see me again as the damage was minimul. I have since seen my own GP and she is quite happy with the way I am maintaining my health. I feel that the H202 has helped, my energy is good, my appetite is brilliant and my mental health is excellant. My breathing is fine, naturally I do get breathless if I overdo it, such as running after the grand kids or moving heavy furniture. I walk every day, I take stairs not lifts and keep on the go until after dinner. I do my housework everyday. I exercise regularly, eat very healthy. I.e lots of salads and juices and lean meat. The H202 is very strong when you ramp up the dose, I got to 12 drops 3 x day and couldnt go stronger, I have switched to Oxy Rich, same setup but pre mixed and much easier on the palate. My improved outlook I put down to changing my diet, gaining much needed weight and feeling good about myself. I will have another spirometry test in the New year as well as another chest xray. I listen to my body and if something feels off then I set about fixing it. The worst time with breathing difficulty was when I gave up smoking, I was never a heavy smoker but all the same I felt rotten, I stopped for 6 weeks, and then picked one up, ggrrrrrr! I smoked 5 a day after that and now it dosent bother me if I do or dont. If I am having a glass of wine I may have 1 or 2 in 24 hours. The urge is lessening which I am happy about. At this stage I dont worry too much about my Copd, I am too busy living. I am a 60 year old trapped in a 40 year old body. I choose not to acknowledge my condition, as I believe that worry will make me worse. I stick to my daily plan and it works for me. This is what I do. 7am take 8mls Oxyrich, have shower, dress, hair and makeup, by then its 7.45, have breakfast which is juice, 9 grains toast and eggs or cereal followed by a cup of coffee, I take my spiriva as ordered by doc and then get Into my day. Lunch is salad wrap followed by 8mls Oxyrich one hour later. Juice again and a piece of fruit. Dinner as normal and oxyrich b4 going to bed. I feel healthier now than before I was told I had copd. I am finally doing something good for my body and this was the wakeup call I needed. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the additional information. Just curious if you know what your FEV1 was when you were tested earlier? I know it isn't all that material as it seems there are people here in the severe and very severe stages that seem to do more than some who's FEV1 is far better.
Sorry jackdup, dont know what it was, doc didnt tell me, just said " not good " and sent me off to specialist, who said dont panic. So who knows. Yes, I agree, there are severe stage people here who are getting on with life, and they have my utmost respect, because they have the right attitude, they will not be beaten by this.
I agree, seeing how well some here do who are severe gets me off my butt and thinking I can do better as well, so I definitely give them my respect as well.
Thats the right attitude, you go! You know I often think about the thousands out there who smoke and probably do have emphysema but dont know it yet, they carry on regardless, just thinking they have smokers cough and the s.o.b is because they are unfit. It is when you are told that everything changes, some people get worse because their anxiety levels go up and the fear that this is a death sentence makes this problem worse. I try to adopt the attitude that I dont know, therefore I remain feeling less stressed, I am not on denial, I just simply take an easier route. No stress, healthy eating and exercise is a winner for me, plus taking my Oxyrich. I dont think about my copd, I just go on with my life normally.
Just Google it love, it will provide you with all the information you need. I take 15mls straight every morning without fail. You have to believe in something Lizzie34, that's what keeps me going. ☺☺☺
Hi country65, have a read of the "One Minute Cure". You will find it online. H202 is 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide, when taken correctly ( must dilute in pure water) it adds oxygen to your body. I wont go on, just have a read.
Hi. My name is Liz. I just read about your treatment. Can I ask what part of Australia you live. Do you live in a very humid area. I noticed when I lived in the Blue Mountains, it helped a lot but now on the Central Coast where it's very humid and problems abound. Trying to cope with the humid atmosphere as not able to move again. I read about the H202 and the Oxyrich. Did they help you a lot. Did you have severe lung problems or just mild and the Oxyrich helped that. I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis 2004 and it only affected my lower lung then but eventually got worse. Been on countless courses of antibiotics for the many infections but I still make sure I exercise and walk at least on a treadmill at the gym though I'd love to be able to run. Lift weights to keep my upper body strong. Just finished another course of antibiotics and not keen to keep going on them. That's why your treatment intrigued me so. My oxygen levels are up to 97% which is good but I still want to be heaps better and not have to take my medications if I can help it. I take ventolin, seretide and spiriva too. Would love to be like you and only have to take spiriva. That would be magic.
Anyway thanks for your comments and answers to other people. You sound so upbeat but please chuck those fags away. They are not going to make your problem any better. That from an ex smoker of 25 cigs a day but gave up roughly 35 years ago. Best decision I ever made and never wanted to start again ever. Never had any cravings since.
