Hi. Had an operation to stick my lung to the lining in august and wanted to talk to someone else who has had this operation

Have had this operation about 4 years ago. Recovery time was quick, and felt well . Only downside , chest felt a bit stiff when breathing, otherwise all o k . Had it for a collapsed lung , wish you a speedy recovery. Wellman 2

I have atypical cells creating fluid and they have stuck the lung to stop this happening. If I have a problem they might need to go back in. How do they do this? Also I am experiencing a lot of pain under my breast. I have been told this is neave endings. How long till it gets better?

Morning sue, I to had pain in my boob, and they told me nerve endings were the cause , It did last a while, several months but did go eventually when u just stop noticing it. If they need to do it again it will be the same procedure. I was told it could happen but fingers crossed and 8 yrs later although I have lots of other issues with my lungs collapsing hasn't happened again since my op, try not to worry about ifs and buts. I had this op about 10 years ago and apart from the odd nerve problem it has been no problem.it is a bit strange when you cough as the side with the lung stuck to it goes up and down
