Well, I'm back home again! After waiting nearly 3 hours for a bed I was cannulated, given oxygen, correctly positioned and ultra sounded!! After 3 Docs tried they decided that maybe there wasn't enough fluid to warrant an invasion....🙄 so I had an Arterial Blood Gas test and it was perfect. So I've been told to see how I go and contact them in the New Year....unless I get worse of course...😊😘😘😘 so a really, really big thank you to you all....you've kept me sane for the last few weeks. I would've been lost without you.....thanks😊😊🙋‍♀️

Hi Sue,

Was the Arterial Blood Gas Test accurate. as they had already given you oxygen?

I hope it was, but just wondering, as I thought it could affect results - certainly don't mean to sound negative - but this has always confused me.

It's great you got out of there and are back home.

Yes, the amount of oxygen I received was negligible so it was OK...xx

Glad you’re home, blood gas test leave you terribly bruised but as long as it’s accurate, it’s over now so you can rest

Take care
