Any of you in the Bury-St.-Edmunds area tomorrow, 31st July, will be welcome at our meeting in the Southgate Community Centre at 1..30 p.m. to listen to Dr. Pat Murrell, a well known local historian, give an illustrated talk about some unusual aspects of Bury-St.-Edmunds. It promises to be very interesting and we would love to have a good number present to hear her. You can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit, take part in the raffle and meet lots of lovely people. See you there I hope.

Breath Easy Bury-St.-Edmunds
Hi Lizzy, thanks. Where is the Southgate centre, is it anywhere near the station?
I'm going to look up train times. P
Hi Peeg (Penelope), the Southgate Community Centre is nearer to the Hospital (and the Hospice) than the Station. If you were coming from the Station you would come down Station Hill onto Tayfen Road, turn right, go to next roundabout, go straight over to get onto Parkway and turn right at the double roundabout onto Westgate, turn left at the traffic lights towards the Hospital. Carry on past the Hospital and take the next right (The Macebearer PH, and Home Farm Lane), next left, Herons Road, left at the top then right into the Community Centre CP. Hope that's clear. How would you be travelling, by train or car? If I can help any more let me know. Love Liz x
I won't make it today. I don't feel brilliant today & as it's hot as h... here I decided I'd be mad to do an almost 6 hour round trip.
I will deffo plan on being there for your August one though
Have a really good day xxx
Oh Peeg, I didn't realise you were hoping to have such a long trip, I thought you were perhaps with Jenny and were using the railway station as a starting point. Of course I wouldn't expect you to come such a long way but when you do get here at some stage you will be assured of a warm welcome (even if the weather has cooled down by then!). Take care, Liz x
