Hi I'm very new to all this. I have my first appt with the respiratory consultant since my diagnosis on Thursday and I want to go in there

Armed with the questions I need to ask. I have servere cope, asthma, hypertension, fibromyalgia, osteo and am a surviveiour of double mastectomies. I am two months out of surgery where they replaced my aorta.i need copd like a hole in the head. You all seem so knowledgable but I find it hard to make sense of all the initials you use like sob well I know that one. At the moment I can't take more tha a few steps before I'm gasping for air and my legs feel like they have been tazed.Three times my legs have collapsed. Please help

You have been through the wars! You certainly need some support at the moment, have you asked what help you could get at your GP's?

Good heavens you have been in the wars. !!! Ihope you go on ok with your consultant im sure they will be happy to answer all your questions .I find the respiratory nurses are verry knowledgeable and will help you a lot Another tip go armed with questions on piece of paper. Because when you come out there bound to be something you fotgot to ask !! You,ll find there allways someone on here with words of encouragement and a few helpfull words ..Good luck let us know how you go on ,....Sue. x
