Check in advance whether the way you answer their questions will score the points you need to qualify . . .
unfortunately I cannot help with the home visit but from visits to their offices I have learnt that you need to tell them what you are like on a bad day, if they were to ask could you prepare lunch the answer is not to say "my other half leaves me something" the answer is no, measure as accurately as possible how far you can walk without stopping, think about whether you are able to bathe etc. without help, for instance my hubby cannot put his socks on without making himself breathless. Hope these thoughts help and good luck.
Have someone who knows you well with you and give them permission to talk about you in front of the dr/assessor.
