Vitamin E and Selenium are not related to lung conditions the best vitamin is vitamin D for lungs with calcium for bones if you use steroids and lets face it thats not uncommon.

That stick in the Ashtray (your avatar image) will likely cause more harm to the pocket and the lungs though.

Haha hello Ashtray this subject brings a smile, an emotive subject here always.I dont think it matters how many links are added, there are as many sites for vits and supplements as sites trying to inform otherwise.People who take and believe they are being helped? People who believe they dont and someones making loads of money?

A concern I have is people who take vits etc and believe,go to great lengths to disprove your post?Is there a point where they would believe something was of no help or might even be damaging? Or would they still continue to take?

If vits and supps do make such a positive difference, especially those with problems like ourselves etc.why dont our doctors prescribe them at a more correct dosage than health shop? When ever I have asked my doc re this subject im always told about the food group where i can get normal daily requirements,if i continue to push on the subject she says if that makes you feel happier and youve money to throw away the choice is yours.

I would like to make an informed choice on this subject? It would seem there are not many thorough licenced conclusive trials to be had.How can I believe Dr Sinartra when his business is also about the sale of vits and supps he is surely biased? This is a massive business which will go to great lengths to persuade people to purchase.

I take cal-d from doc cos of bones and a bit of iron when necessary and prescribed.

In my conclusion tis much like religon some believe some dont! For now until proven otherwise Iam a disbeliever of added vits and supps and spend that money on some added fruits etc to my diet.but respect peoples choice whichever way.Happy days Ashtray :) Janexx

Hello Stitch Your right i didnt explain myself very well , vitamins and supplements of course have their place when your doctor prescribes for you because your body is low in whatever and it is needed.I dont believe in taking vits and supps cos somebody other than my own doc says thats good to take or believe some advertisement.I eat a reasonably healthy diet. :) Janexx
