I had 1 like that, she now lives with my daughter and is now very affectionate......little traitor lol

What a gorgeous puss - Charlie. Sadness in our house. Betsy was a rescue cat. The vet feels she is a lot older than stated. However, she wont go out, wont use the cat flap. I simply cant cope with the dirt tray and no room for it anyway. She insists on using the inner door mat for a dirt tray. We spent £200 to have tests done to rule out some disorder. I have protected the mat, but we have been advised to return her to Blue Cross. I feel bad about this. I love Betsy but after so much discussion, she cant stay.

Know how you feel. I have two cats who a friend got from a Rescue Centre, then got a dog and was going to return them. They now live with us. Won't go in the garden and use the litter tray or around it. Have to put on plastic sheeting then newspaper. I'm only used to cats that love the garden and being out and clean in their dirt boxes. Grrrr

It's such a difficult decision to let a pet go whatever the circumstances and I really feel for you. Do you know any of her history? I had to rehome my 3 cats just before we moved as the council would not let us have them here and its a 1st floor flat we are in now, also it wouldn't have been fair to force them to be house cats as they had the freedom to come and go at the last house.

Ann, the vet feels that Betsy was a lot older than stated, when we got her. She had to have dental extractons, although she eats well, is quite thin and sleeps a lot. I am dreading Monday but it has to happen. We have done just about we can think of to stop her very bad habit. SIGH!

Betsy may be too old to really change her ways. What is her history? You must do what is right for you Annie as you have enough to cope with. Don't feel bad. The Blue Cross will care for Betsy and may well find someone else to take her on with different circumstances to you. Lots of love. xxx

True Ann. Try reading a newspaper on your lap. Cat appears from nowhere.

Poor cat they never seem to learn. As a child we had a cat who used to rub round your legs when he thought it was feed time if you ignored it he would bite you.

what a gorgeous kitten , pass on cuddles from me!

Aww! He is lovely. We have a grown up cat that comes to see us. He came round last night at quarter to one in the morning so I let him stay till quarter to seven. He doesn't seem to like his home as he is always here or at one of my neighbours.when Charlie is grown he will look just like Sandy as we call him. They are lovely company.
