As has been said, you need to see your doctor and voice your concerns. The only person that can diagnose and treat.

I recognise that as pleurisy which I get. Do see your doc ASAP, as Flibberti says can be one of several things. SEE DOC Tuesday

Do get it checked out could be anything even a pulled muscle

I get it every time when I've get a chest infection. Its so bad I've been prescribed really powerful painkillers as its the only way to get through the day and sleep at night. Dr said I could have cracked a rib or piece of rib sliced off. It last for ages but it does go eventually. But only one that can tell you properly is your Dr.

Yeah, doctor is the best place. She will listen to your chest to make the difference between all these ailments mentioned above.

I had my pain for a month now. My consultant just dismissed me and told me to take some Paracetamol. My GP was more down to earth, he listened to my chest. I told him it was especially when I breathed deeply. That means it;s the muscle. Not only did he prescribe painkillers, but he prescribed Ibuprofen gel to put on the affected part. It wasn't heaven, but I could feel the pain diminish.

So doctor's the best person to see.

i get the same thing and get told its muscular, tried ibuprofen and naproxen(?) yet still having same pains especially first thing in the morning whereby i have to hold something to pull myself into a sitting position as the pain is so bad, hospital and gp are not interested and just fob me off everytime without tests or such like, so i have given up trying with them now and just suffer the pain without aid as i was developing an addiction to painkillers. truly feel for you i really do x
