Hi scars, don't despair I was a wreck in my late thirties but managed to rejuvenate myself and return to work as a disabled person, and stay in employment till 55 when I had to give in due to pain and tiredness, the knack is to centre everything round what you can do and what you need be a little selfish it works wonders for moral

Glad to hear your doctor was good! Sorry to hear that your Copd has moved to moderate - don't despair my husband has been severe for a few years! I think Katie above is right - put yourself first and concentrate on what you can do! Take good care with much love TAD x

sorry your moved to mod, dont worry, get exercising daily,do what u can,and spondi thought you have see hospital for that, ask to be referred, have you got all your right meds now, dont worry, now you no whats what, fight back,as able as you can, bernice

Try can focus on your abilities rather than your disabilities it 's not easy but with practice you can. I've been moderate since diagnose 4 years ago. The thing for you to do now is to maintain what lung function you have by exercise, avoiding colds getting your flu vax.

Hi Scars ask your GP to refer to the pain clinic at your local hospital I have spondylitis in my neck and spine I also went to see a acupuncturist. You need to keep fit plenty of exercise find some form of exercise you can do and look after yourself.

I've been to see physio at hospital quite a few times, injury is too old for them to do much to it (injury at age 6).
