I went for a trip in our local park yesterday with my granddaughter, Gracie, whose 11th birthday it was. It was lovely to get out, the only reason I’ve been out in months has been for hospital appointments. The snowdrops were out in abundance and the lake was filled with ducks, swans and geese, all making lots of noise and clamouring for attention, but, unfortunately, we didn’t have anything to give them. Gracie took her new bike and I was on my buggy so we had a race, she won!! Will try and put some pics on, but I’m not too good at it so don’t hold your breath. Hope all as well as can be. Take care. Christine. X

A trip in the park.
Ah lovely. Unfortunately my grandchildren are all too far away for me to be with them yet. I think that the sunshine charged up our batteries so I dragged my jet washer out and am doing my patio gasp by gasp 😊
That’s a shame, most of my grandkids live quite close so they come and stand in the garden so I can see them, I know I’m lucky in that respect, I do miss our kisses and cuddles though, the younger ones can’t understand why they can’t have a hug from grandma. X
Sounds like you had a really lovely time, good to hear of nice things happening.
How lovely to get out and about with your granddaughter. We see our grandchildren outside the garden as they live not too far away. It’s always good to see them but I do miss the cuddles. Hopefully it won’t be long now.
Glad you had fun Christine. Take care. Carole xxxx👍😘
Nan’s and granddaughters! What can you say.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
That sounds like a lovely day and I've just seen one of your photos so it looks like a lovely day too. Thank you for sharing it with us 😊
I have told my little granddaughters that as soon as we can hug each other I want 1000 hugs!
What a lovely trip out.
Looks like you and Gracie had fun together. The pictures are beautiful. x
The pictures were lovely, my trips to any park have to be with my great grandchildren as my youngest granddaughter is 30 in September. Great grandchildren range from 13 to 3 . But it is lovely to go to the park now and then . Hope you enjoyed yourselves.
What a lovely post! I can just picture you having a race and I can imagine the noise the ducks, swans and geese were making. I feel as though I was there with you. What great fun! xx Moy
Your pics are lovely. Gracie and the tree she's sitting under look really springlike.
Thanks for lovely photos, you sounded to have had a great time in the park with your granddaughter, lots of memories for you to keep xxx
