The ambulatory oxygen I have been prescribed is having good results already and I have not got it yet. Yesterday I spoke to both my daughters to explain the situation, they were both shocked, I don't think either of them realised how rough I was feeling and how difficult it was to do things. This morning they both came they have changed the beds cleaned the fridge cut hubbys hair and took the Tesco delivery in both saying if I need anything done just to ask.
This is going to make life much easier and hopefully so will the oxygen.

Thats great news it will make a big difference as i said before in my reply too your blog about not getting help i have three daughters and only one does all the helping and for that im truly thankful you take care
I am really pleased for you Polly. It is difficult isn't it to get the balance right between letting them know how ill you are and not giving them too much to worry about? I am pleased they have been able to see your need for practical help. Good luck with the oxygen too. xx
Such good news and such a relief for you to know you have support. Take care TAD x x x
So pleased your daughters have finally realised you need a little help Polly. Sometimes I think we are a bit to blame ourselfves by being too independent.. I used to struggle on doing certain chores that were just too much for me, then my husband used to say, "why didn't you ask me" and I used to think , "I shouldn't need to ask" but lets face it family aren't mind readers. Now I have a lovely girl comes in once a week for two hours, she irons my bedding, and does some jobs that are just beyond me now and as a result I am happier in myself. Anyway sorry for waffling. Well done lovely daughters!
great to hear my sons help were ever they can but both have very high time consuming jobs but I know if I need them they will come eventually
great news...am very pleased for you. This will also partly be a relief for your girls too ... seems it is easier for family to deal with when they know what they are dealing with....that seems to be my experience anyway, despite their worry. x
