Can anyone tell me if extreme fatigue and headaches are caused by COPD..as Im suffering these even when relatively well and free of chest infections....or is it just part and parcel of getting close to that "age" for ladies??! :-)

Hi! Jayb tiredness and fatigue is all part and parcel of COPD, you just have to learn your limits.Yesterday I could hardly do anything today I am a busy little bee.Do you think headaches might be caused by the arthritis in your spine?take care Genexxxx

Probably a bit of both I would think, but mainly COPD. For me the extreme fatigue is one of the hardest things to cope with.

Hiya Jayne

I was wondering whether you might just have a touch of depression. It isn't easy coping with 3 kids, 2 dogs and a cat. I blame the cat. It could be worth having a talk with your GP. My wife had a bit of depression once - just after she met me strangely enough. The GP gave her a short course of anti-depressents. She took the month's course and didn't need them any more. Yep, see the quack. Hope this helps.
