Hi all, Just watched Laura Robson beat Erakovic in a match that she looked set to lose. Its good to see a British tennis player reach the 2nd week as this is a pretty rare event for us.
I used to play a lot of tennis myself and really miss getting out on court with my friends at the local club, I had been a member there for 32 years and It was an excellent way of keeping fit. Someday after transplant I may even make a come back, its been 3 years since its last been used but my racquet is still around somewhere collecting dust but who knows eh'. Everyone should have a dream to hang on to and that's one of mine.
I have a lot to thank tennis for as my consultant said I would have never had survived my initial illness had I not have been so fit.
Well here I am sat at home on the old antibiotics having a quite day because i've got a bit of a cold/chest infection but I can tell things are improving, so come on Andy Murray and Laura Robson give me something to cheer next week.
Oh Yeh' there might be a bit of Jumping Jack Flash on TV tonight as the Rolling Stones are on at around 10 oclock performing from Glastonbury and that is a much watch for all.
If your into heavy metal then the recent Download Festival my son went to is on Sky Arts at
11 pm
I guess I'll just have to watch it all and have a very late noisy night. Rock On!! everyone
Tony.

iI have an old stones LP that my Dad left me to be honest I don't like them much but have sat and listened to it and it took me back to the sixties funny listening to LP again
Don't worry I'll be shouting it from the top of the Malvern Hills, you can count on it.
For now I'll get my 'Satisfaction' from watching the stones tonight.
Tony.xx
Enjoyed the Laura Robson game brilliant like you say she was set to lose but she is a real fighter and did not give in bit like you Dall and I have a feeling your dream of playing again after your transplant may come true as you have the same strong spirit. Enjoy the music
I kept my old badminton raquet for years. I had one of the first carbon fibre ones and it cost me an arm and a leg. Gut strung of course. It certainly saw some service. Happy days.
