copd inhaler
Hi, very interesting, although some of the possible side effects sound a bit dire. I wouldn't hold your breath (not for more than 10 seconds in my case!) though, it will probably take ages to be licensed in the UK. I notice though, that one the developers is Glaxo Smith Kline who do a lot of research in the UK too, so who knows? I'd give it a go, I think! Libby
Looks Like It's In UK Already ukmi.nhs.uk/applications/nd...
As Above Great Post
hi .the post above.wat is in u.k. now.im not good yet with computers still learning.if its anything new and better for us im asking my new gp get his act together.hes ok not like ex dum git, take care .
It seems to offer some hope, despite the risks.
Good post Bobshir and it'll be interesting to see if it gets licensed in the UK. There was a report a few months ago stating that the process of approving new drugs in the UK has got to be quicker.
Great post and could be just what some people need but no good for Pete as he does not cope with any powder based inhalers. They make him choke badly because of his sarcoidosis. Very interesting though. xxx
Bobshir
Thanks for that. When my brain gets unscrambled I'm going through it line by line. At first glance it looks very good. Thanks again. Bobby
Sounds like good news, hope the Uk get it as quick as pos for use

Hi Caroll. I was on Symbicort ,it worked quite well for me on it for about 6 months. went to see nurse 6 weeks ago and she's taken me off it because I quote 'its not for COPD sufferers only those with asthma!' I was on combivent before that and that did work but cant have that now as its been withdrawn! Got a new one to pick up Monday and Im on salbutamol till then which doesn't really help! Hope you get sorted out soon.
Take care
