I have had a good experience of Fasenra so far. I have been on Fasenra for 6 months now and it's literally been life changing... no bad asthma flare ups, no hospitalisations, no A&E attendances and I've been able to stay off steroids, and my peak flow is the highest it's ever been.

I hope Fasenra works well for you too :-)

YES. I have been on this for a good year and like Claire18 it has been life changing. I feel like it has pretty much gone. I have stopped prednisalone and theophyline and no longer use the nebuliser. The only times I struggle are when I have a chest infection and then it goes back to being bad which is a shocker as you get used to it not being the big problem it was for all those years. If I were in a room full of cats I might not be happy but I have not put it to the test. I have heard that it works for some people for a few months and is then less effective but that has not been my experience.

I've been on it for nr2yrs.its very gd,but I find it wears of for last 2 wks when on 8wk injections + for me,nr a wk to work so for 3of 8wks I struggle.id still take 5of 8 wks for benefits as it really helps my asthma+ benefits impact my many other lung diseases.

Ditto Mark-f!! I switched from Fasenra to Dup about 20mths ago for the same reason as you guys.

Dup is now causing random spikes in my eosinophils 🙄 so have been offered Tez.. Am not really ready to switch atm. Feel like I’m chasing every new biologic just waiting for the right one!

Good luck to all who have found the right one!

🤞🤞😊

I was on it last year for about 4 months, it did not do anything for me, and I went back to Xolair. But everyone is different. I also tried Dupi, it did not work (it also caused joint pain).

hi .. I was on it 4 years ..

I self administered , it became less affective over time , so I’ve now been switched to dupilumab which I find so much better but it has to be taken every 2 weeks , instead of every 2 months for the fensara ..

I was previously on xolair and mepolizomab..

In fact I was one of the first to trial biologics back in 2014

Good luck with it , hope it works for you
