Fasenra

I was advised by my doctor to try Fasenra. Is there anybody who switched from Nucala to Fasenra? What about any side effects from Fasenra? I would greatly appreciate your posting any experiences.

I’m just reaching out to find out if anyone is on biologic medication called Fasenra . I just took my first shot yesterday and wanted to know if anyone has had a good experience or bad…. And how long have you been taking it… thanks and stay healthy

I took 2 doses of Fasenra and now developed Eczema which I NEVER had. Does anyone else have this problem ? Thanks, Maria

So today is the day .6 months on Fasenra and it has stopped working already ,changing today to Tezspire ,all fingers crossed it works .

Looking for information plz...daughter recently diagnosed is now on biologic Fasenra seems to be going well just had her 3rd injection 2x weeks ago. Is it possible to live a normal life with this condition? New to this ....

Has anyone suffered hair loss or had regrowth whilst on Fasenra?

My alopecia is worst and wondering if this is anything to do with Fasenra. Will see if hair regrow after taking Nucala.

Now on Fasenra injections . Had three does and my feet are swollen every day and wake up with them . My joints are very painfully as well . Just reaching out to see if anyone has the same side effects ? Oh and I still have the cough no difference . appreciate any replies thanks

Just recently I changed over to Dupilumab from Fasenra and as well as curing my eosinaphilic asthma it has now got rid of my nasal polyps so for the first time in probebly 15 years I can smell and taste.

Hi All Briefly, I am a severe asthmatic on Fostair, Ventolin, Spiriva, Azithromycin, Montelukast, 5mg Pred, daily and Fasenra.

They've said I qualify for two diff ones: Nucala (mepolizumab) and Fasenra (benralizumab) and think that the Faserna will be best.

I had my first injection of Fasenra in December and second one in Jan. I am due my third one next week. I am aware it is still early days but this time, as with the previous time, it seems as if my asthma starts to deteriorate in the 7 - 10 days prior to the injection.

I have been on Fasenra for three months now and last week my blood pressure shot up and has stayed high ever since. Has anybody else found this to happen? I really don't want to take meds but may have to.

They diagnosed severe esinophilic asthma and have recommended me for biologics (fasenra) so waiting for the approval now to go though. They said it prob won't be a problem but there's a process so will take a few weeks. I feel so relieved that there's some help and hopefully this will help me.

As the fasenra didn’t help. just felt the need to share. It’s such a roller coaster and so demoralising constantly having the same thing happen. I know I’m not alone. So decided today to stay in pjs. And do nothing but rest.

does anyone know how long it takes to get Fasenra out of your system? I was on Nucala and thanks to a post here learned it took about four months to leave the system, which was in fact what happened.

I know this is going to seem crazy but I am on my third Fasenra injection and I am noticing a sensation of a strong smell around me, rather like cooked bacon! I hope it is going to wear off (like the aches and pains!) because it is not nice.

I have tested positive today, I am on Fasenra injections and currently weaning off prednisolone. Anyone else in this situation?

I have asthma as well as elevated eosinophols (~850 mcL). The asthma is well controlled with an inhaler, but I have some concerns with long-term use of an inhaler so my interest is peaked by all of the advertisements about the various biologic treatments. For those who take one of these biologics

Had mepo and fasenra - sadly not responded to either. Waiting to start on xolair but after seven years not that hopeful. I am still working full time - but not sure for how much longer.
