Hi,

For anyone who is getting fasenra injections...did you have side effects? Which ones? For how long?

Had my first injection today and have a fever, body aches and a headache. Just wondering what to expect...

Thank you!!!

HiI don’t have really bad side effects from it just a bit of a headache and sore throat. Sometimes feel a bit ‘flu’ like but it only lasts a day or two.

I inject myself so have managed to adjust my timing for a Friday so that I get a couple of days rest after injecting before work!

🤞the benefits will outweigh the side effects for you longer term.

Hope you feel better soon.

😊👍

Hi I’ve been on this over a year now and before that mepolizimab for 18 months .. I self administer my Benralizumab no issues or side affects .. found it much better than the mepo .. I’ve even been able to wean my prednisone down from 25mg daily which I was on for 5 years down to 5mg but I now have low cortisol or adrenal insufficiency 🤦‍♂️

I had my first fasenra jab yesterday, rough last night but fine today. Just wondering if and when I will feel any better. My peak flow averages about 170, would love it to go over 200. Time will tell.
