Hello everyone! Is there anyone here that switch their inhaler from Fostair to Alvesco due to side effects or using alvesco in general? Could you please share your experience?

has anyone here using Alvesco
Hi, i have taken alvesco now for about 15 months before this i was on fostair.Yes i have no more trouble with my throat and voice. I like it, when you inhale the relaxant formoterol seperately on demand. Thus i have less side effects on my heart beating rate. So i recommend it.
By the way my asthma career startet 60 years ago with many ups and downs.
May bei once in a while even a placebo can help, or an external shock or fasting.
My latest observation is to stop drinking coffee in the morning, as i have developed a sensitive stomach. My idea ist that acid out the stomach is somehow
being inhaled and produces a cramp in my lungs. Silent reflux.
Just to finish i want to say thank you for this very helpfull forum.
I did not find anything like this here in
Germany. Asthma is dreadfull disease beyond languages and borders.
Best regards
They kept me on fostair 100 mart but added in 320 of alvesco.
The alvesco has worked for me, it provides a solid base then I vary my fostair up and down. It has kept me out of hospital.
I get more silent reflux though.
The doctors disagree as to when alvesco becomes systemic, my general hospital consultant was happy for me to take up to 640 of alvesco, tertiary were not and took it down to 320.
I use both alvesco and fostair with no probs, for many years
