I feel weak after taking my asthma pump. Sometimes my heart beats so fast . It’s happening mostly in the morning time. Is it a normal side effect???

Please do consider calling the helpline on 0300 2225800 or WhatsApp on 07999 377 775 Monday-Friday 0915-5pm. Such side effects can be related to your asthma medication , please speak with your GP in the 1st instance.

My salamol will make my heart beat fast sometimes, but not my other inhalers.

I think you need to talk it through with somebody, so would follow Laura's advice.

it is normal for this to happen as it’s the steroids in the inhaler it’s nothing serious and passes after a short while
