chronic cough / seretide

Hi all. I’ve looked through posts about coughs and Seretide on this forum. Seems there are quite a few who have had similar experiences with this inhaler as i’m having now.

I’ve had very loud coughs all my life. Now with allergy season starting, a nasty cough has come come back that I can’t shake. I’ve taken Seretide in the past (prescribed by a lung specialist) and my GP urged me to take it again - two puffs a day, together with Fenofexidine. It’s basically a non-productive cough and I have no voice now!😩 4 days ago I told my local pharmacist (doc is on Easter holidays) and she recommended I double the dosage! But there’s no improvement at all! Could the Seretide perhaps not agree with me and be prolonging the cough. Any similar experiences out there? Can one just stop Seretide like that?

hey, I had a chronic productive cough for two years, whilst being on Seretide 125. Once I was switched onto Fostair it went away. Maybe speak to your doctor about trying a different inhaler
