Hello there,
I wonder if anyone else has come across this? I previously suspected that my seretide inhaler sometimes did not discharge correctly when it felt and sounded differently in my mouth. I recently started using a spacer and was able to observe this. I estimate it happens a few times with each inhaler though not with every inhaler. Significantly I was able to reproduce this with a failed test spray into the air. The next puff was perfect.
I have been using Seretide Evo 250 for several years. I am careful to prime the inhaler at the beginning with 4 puffs and shake it adequately before use every time. I store it correctly and keep it (the spray nozzle in particular) clean.
I guess because I take 4 puffs per day it is not the end of the world and I just take an extra puff and use puffs past the counter end. It might be more problematic for someone who was relying on a on a one puff per day dose and was not getting them all?
I would be interested to know if anyone else has noticed the same issue.
Thank you
