i just want to warn some people if your have any health issues and been ask to have your over 80s Covid booster and flu jab at same time ..

my carer Alan was health was ok with few ache pains , did have heart risk in his family , was well and active before having Covid booster + flue jab in the other arm . He had no adverse reaction in the past. But on Oct 3rd Oct he had both jabs , both arms were very sore for 24-48hrs , that past then a dry cough set in . after 5days he try cough mixture , on 7th day he coughing so bad , i asked him go see Doctor . The next morning i got up , saw he was still in bed , put kettle on went back gave bed a shake , saw dog go up lick his face , no response . i called 999 , neighbour call in did CPR till paramedic arrived . They couldn't revive him .

It still such a shock, for some one he was on whole fit and well.

RIP Alex Scanes-Johnson past away 16-10-24

That's very sad, but could be totally unrelated to the jabs. I'm 79 and had the jabs in different arms at the same time . I had a sore arm where the flu jab went in, but no soreness in the Covid arm. I am also asthmatic, have BPH, and lymphoedema in my lower legs.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your dear friend. These covid jabs are not as effective and safe as they say. 1 Family lost the 39year old Mother and got £120,000 payout for their loss. Brian

Yes, the BBC ladies husband got a similar payout, he's not happy, thinks the amount is insulting for her death.

Yes well I can understand that because you can't put a price on a life. Plus she left her young daughter with her father as well. There was another guy, who was left bed ridden as well. All caused by the A.Z vaccinations

Very sorry to hear this sad story. Maybe he overreacted to the double vaccination. Perhaps a single vaccination, a month apart, would have been better. They do not tell you about any risks involved. It has been like an assembly line nowadays to get a vaccination.

I also got the two jabs at the same time, and I also had pain in my arms for a few days. But nothing more, thanks God.

Lots of love!

Am really really sorry for your loss. It is a sad story. However I assume the gentleman will have a post mortem? Nothing to suggest death was caused by any vaccinations.

Yes, it could be yet another 'coincidence'

Thank you for posting and highlighting this experience. What a lovely picture of Alex, we are very sorry for your loss . Can we be mindful of the fact that research has found that it is safe for people to receive a flu vaccine at the same time as a COVID-19 vaccine. Reported side effects were mainly mild to moderate, and there were no negative impacts on the immune response produced by either vaccine when both were given on the same day, in opposite arms. The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) encourages you to have the flu and covid vaccination together when possible, and that it is safe to do so. If there are any onward concerns please do consider speaking to your health care professional. I hope StuWin50 you soon have some answers surrounding his death and that some closure can be had. All the very best

Sorry for your loss.

However I can see no evidence in what you say to show that it is connected with the vaccinations.

Everything I can find shows that the current covid vaccinations have been subjected to a full trial process. While there is a full study by Bristol University showing it is safe to take the flu and covid jabs together.

Thank you for sharing this. As I just had both vaccines on Saturday, just sore arms and very tired for 24 hours when you read posts about vaccines that are wary of them it's concerning. However I had both vaccines together last year with no ill effects.
