Been on dupilimab for coming up to a year.I have had no steroids for a year. The duplimab is not as good as prednisilone at damping things down - I cough a lot and sneeze a lot - I usually need a blast of my inhaler because I struggle to breathe after a bout of sneezing.

I have noticed since late November I get headaches and sinus pain which also affects my ears.

The cold weather is making things worse and I really don't want to leave the house.

I bet I am not the only person feeling awful this time of the year.

Like you my asthma hates the winter, but my medics are being quite proactive about it, luckily

Always worth a chat with the asthma UK helpline on 0300 2225800.

I loathe winter. If I could, I'd live somewhere warm & sunny. However, you should get a GP appointment, taking with you a bit of paper showing how often you need the blue reliever and how long it lasts. You might need another medication, if only till the weather improves.

I know that I really could have done with steroids but my repeat prescription has been stopped and I cannot get a GP appointment.
