From ordering to picking up from chemist probably 5 days maximum.

4 to 5 days. We've lost several pharmacies in our town so there's greater pressure on the remaining ones.

Some stuff 2 weeks, thats a repeat item I've had for 7 months

Other stuff can be done within the week

If i order on the NHS app a repeat prescription, three days or so. My gp surgery has outsourced it all and it works well.

Anything that has to go via the GP surgery can take ages. My pharmacy says to allow two weeks and that is probably correct.

Repeat medication can take 7-8 days, so I make sure I have one preventer inhaler in hand. Medication following a visit to the doctor's takes ten minutes.

4-5 days usually but it can vary, but my gp will only issue a prescription 30 days after the last inhaler was issued which can be tight if I've had to use any extra doses

My last surgery were very lax about processing prescriptions but I moved areas and now I mostly put a repeat request into the surgery letterbox at the weekend. It's dealt with Monday morning and is ready for collection on Tuesday. Of course, if something has to be ordered in it will take an extra day.

If you’re in the uk the prescription “should “ be ready after 48 hours. As long as your doctor is dependable and deals with it in an efficient manner. When I order my own prescription it states that I should allow 48 hours before collection. But that’s for a doctor who is in the uk

Varies hugely, sometimes a few days, last one 13! I phone chemist, they send Rx to doc who sends it back, then chemist delivers. Seems worse atm but they also delivered an inhaler I hadn't ordered along with Adcal ,but would rather have a spare. So bit of a muddle atm.🤔

I order mine direct with mg local GP through the Patient Access App and get a text within 48 hours ( working days ) so I can collect it from the 24/7 Pharmavend

if a GP prescribed meds over the phone due to an emergency illness I can usually collect within the hour
