Are you more likely to suffer from complications if tested positive with Covid?

Mine did get worse. I rang the Asthma UK helpline for advice and they suggested speaking to my GP about increasing my maintenance inhaler, which did help. It would be worth calling the helpline for advice, if only for reassurance. I felt much more confident about how to cope after speaking to them.
Thanks. What medications for your asthma are you on?
I had covid over new year, I found I was breathless (as I would be with flu), I just increased my dose of seretide accuhaler and ventolin accuhaler (already on azithromycin)and when GP reopened after the bank holidays they got in touch and recommended a rescue pack of steroids if needed, which I did a few weeks later. Otherwise it took 1-2 months to get back to normal, I just adjusted inhalers where needed and had no need for GP intervention
