I thought that everyone with asthma needed one in case though… I am wondering with the flutiform inhaler I posted does he need a blue inhaler too? Also does the flutiform inhaler mean he has a more moderate case of asthma? He also has mild nasal polyps which he uses nasonex for as needed.

I'm on flutiform 250 2x2, ventolin 4x4 , fentofexadine 180mg 2 daily, avamys spray , spiriva

My asthma medication was changed in March from Flutiform 125mg to Symbicort 200/6. I felt even worse on this and I insisted my asthma nurse put me back on Flutiform. This she did, very reluctantly. As things weren't improving, I went to see a respiratory consultant privately.

I'm worried that my asthma is not well controlled, I'm on highest dose of Fostair which was switched from Flutiform earlier this year as my Asthma nurse believed I needed a higher dose of steroid to control my asthma as I frequently need Steroids.

At present I’m waking up with odd wheeze ( think because cold air in the night ) but holding off taking inhaler ( luckily the flutiform I take kicks in and wheeze goes ) so can anyone tell me how long doctors expect an inhaler to last ? Thank you

I was put on Flutiform starting with (I think) a 125/5 dosage twice a day. Over the past 10 years I managed to reduce it down to a comfortable 50/5 dose, once a day. Sadly, Flutiform (Fluticasone / Formoterol) is no longer available in South Korea, and it doesn't look like it's coming back.

Im not sure if fostair inhaler is working as well for me as flutiform inhaler did. I don't feel wheezy as such but just a general asthma feeling in my chest now and again which passes but I did not get this on flutiform. Asthma nurse put me on to try fostair as its more eniromentally friendly.

I'm on Montelukast, Carbocisteine, Spiriva, Flutiform, and Ventolin, as well as having Ipatropium and Salbutamol Nebulisers. My asthma nurse suggested changing my steroid inhaler to Fostair, but she was hesitant in case it made my asthma worse.

So I went to see the nurse at my practice today because my asthma has flared up and although my chest is clear she's told me to finish my course of steroids because my peak flow is low (270 usually 450) and I'm tight chested and a little breathless and she's changed my steroid inhaler from Flutiform

I'm already on Flutiform 250/10 as well as Spiriva which I know isn't a steroid. What's the difference between the two and is it worth changing.

Does anyone have an opinion on Flutiform? I am seriously allergic to aspirin and NSAIDS. I hope everyone is doing ok. Noreen

Has anyone had a bad reaction to Fostair or Flutiform? Clenil isn't helping to control my asthma but I can't seem to tolerate the newer stronger preventers. I'm limited to what I can use due to a dairy allergy. Would really appreciate some guidance . Thank you ❤️

I have been taken off flutiform 250/10 as my asthma was not controlled and pf was at 150.

I realised a couple of weeks ago that my asthma was getting worse again (I have severe uncontrolled asthma) and so I spoke to my GP who recommended that I up my Flutiform to 3 or 4 times a day as well as using my consultant approved home nebuliser which seemed to help but then last week it got worse

I'm on 250/10 Flutiform, 2.5 Spiriva Respimat, Montelukast and Salamol. I'm waiting for an appointment with a Respiratory Physiotherapist. I'm very worried. I can't shake the symptoms off. But here's the thing - I'm far better lying down than I am sitting, standing, or moving about.

Having had similar issues on Fostair, Symbicort, Flutiform, Serevent, or indeed anything with a LABA in it I suspect that I am just over sensitive to it.
