I often have mucus in my throat that I find hard to cough up and it also affects me voice. Can this be a side effect of my asthma and inhaler

Side effects
I can have this happen, my doctor and specialist have put it down to allergic rhinitis, as I have a few allergies but can be a side affect of inhalers. Make sure you have a drink after taking your inhalers. Personally, if you are worried I would ring your doctor and have a chat with them about it.
Post nasal drip and acid/silent reflux can also do this.
My steroid inhalers have messed my voice up. It feels dry and there is a range that simply isn’t there any more. I used to sing in the church choir which has been stopped due to coronavirus, and I really don’t think I’ll be much use when/if we start up again.
So, very possibly.
My seretide has just been changed to an evohaler with a spacer as having a lot of trouble with a sore throat, thick mucus and skin thinking on my soft pallet. The last is according to my dentist.
Only one month into the new regime but it seems to be starting to make a difference.
