Finally, progress?

So what was initially a very disheartening process of getting a call from the respiratory registrar today saying that he would not increase treatment and see me in 3 months time (despite me needing daily salbutamol and having a severely decreased exercise tolerance from my last admission in hospital).

I got a call back from him later in the day to say he’d discussed my case with the consultant who disagreed and that I will discussed at the next MDT for ?biological therapy!

I am so relieved that they are even going to discuss me as 5 admissions in 12 months and now daily struggles left me feeling like there was no hope.

I just thought I’d share this with you all as it has made my day knowing that there is someone willing to push for my treatment.

I’m really glad to hear somebody has listened and is being proactive for you!

Hopefully there’s a MAB (biologic) which will work for you and get you back to feeling like you again!

That's great news, glad the consultant listened! Hope that goes smoothly and you find a biologic that works for you. 😀
