asthmatic response to new rug made in India
immediately caused me to go from being virtually free of asthma symptoms to being in need of steroid inhaler and frequent ventolin doses - I was very short of breath, my lungs were irritated and when exercising, swimming or walking, I’d need ventolin but found it wouldn’t work if I was also taking

Flutiform no longer available in my country, what would be a good alternative?
Sadly, Flutiform (Fluticasone /
Formoterol
) is no longer available in South Korea, and it doesn't look like it's coming back.

Hello Has anyone had problems with the
Formoterol
in Fostair MART therapy (100/6) x 1-2 puffs x 2 daily. I was changed over to this in August last year as was not fully controlled on Clenil/SABA.

Any views on Trelogy Inhaler
Good morning I have seen some really good reviews on the inhaler Trimbow today but am reluctant to try it as whenever I have tried an inhaler with
formoterol
n it I have had problems.

Why is my peak flow dropping & should I be worried?
I'm on
formoterol
and
formoterol
with a steroid. I don't take the steroid one every day because I'm a singer. Any comments about a) why my peak flow is dropping so, and b) more effective medication? And should I be as concerned as I am about my peak flow dropping? And why am I so tired?

A few medical issues since starting DuoResp Spiromax 160/4.5 Budesonide/formoterol three weeks ago
Hello there, I still have not had a diagnosis for my bronchiectasis like symptoms; my chest x-rays showed scarring in march, but are now all clear now. Since my last serious chest infection earlier this year I have been perfectly healthy, active, cough and asthma free, only taking Fostair 100/6 four

CEV Criteria
I've recently been switched to Fluticasone 250/
Formoterol
10 (2 puffs twice a day) which I believe quite a strong steroid dose with a LABA agent.

International study suggests alternative treatment for mild asthma
Paul O’Byrne is the principal investigator on the study that suggests an inhaler with a combination of budesonide, a steroid that controls inflammation, and
formoterol
, a beta2-agonist that helps to open airways and make breathing easier, may be an alternative to conventional treatment strategies.

Fostair: virtues & vices
I've tried a variety of other inhlaers over the past year: Q-var, Pulmicort, Seretide 50, Flixotide (with and without either
formoterol
or Salmeterol). None of them work anywhere near as well as the Fostair. Thus, I'm at a bit of a dead end.

Asthma flare after covid vaccine
It could be complete coincidence, but my asthma is being an absolute pain and not responding as well as normal to ventolin (though interestingly is responding to extra
formoterol
). I am wondering if there's a link, as my asthma has otherwise been pretty good for the past few months.

Formoterol and Albuterol
I know the
Formoterol
side of the drug is a long acting bronchodilator but I was wondering if being on these, long term (or any term) has an affect on albuterol effectiveness? Does anyone find that the albuterol feels less effective?

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by GP; montelukast, LABAs, combination inhalers and steroids!
So on with the infomercial 😉😂 LONG ACTING BETA 2 AGONISTS (LABAs) - salmeterol/
formoterol
inhalers For a lot of people a steroid inhaler is not enough to control their asthma, so your GP may try giving you a 3rd inhaler (on top of the steroid and reliever inhalers).

Triple Inhaled Therapy at Two Glucocorticoid Doses in Moderate-to-Very-Severe COPD.
Triple therapy with twice-daily budesonide (at either the 160-μg or 320-μg dose), glycopyrrolate, and
formoterol
resulted in a lower rate of moderate or severe COPD exacerbations than glycopyrrolate–

Newly Diagnosed
I made an appointment with a pulmonologist, had a blood test, CT scan of my chest and the doctor said it's most likely asthma and prescribed me with Ventolin inhaler, a Budesonide/
Formoterol
inhaler and aminophylline pill. I took the Ventolin inhaler 3 times a day-1 puff.
