Hi there! I’m day 4 into covid and would love to compare notes with other asthmatics who have it. I started with a very sore throat then had a terrible headache and body pains. Now I’m exhausted and my lungs are tight and feel a little hot but my peak flow and oxygen are good. My pulse is higher than usual. I have no appetite but I can still taste food.
Would love to hear how people are coping, treating themselves etc. I’m taking tons of vitamin c, d, fish oil, magnesium, drinking lots of water, and resting.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Thank you, great advice! I will ask my hubbie to go get some zinc My dr said the same thing about antibiotics. I'm going to get a CT scan later this week just to check my lungs and then she'll decide whether I should start them.
I may have covid, but can't be sure. I'm on day 8. I've had headaches and fever, and generally feel lousy. I can sleep for hours and hours, day and night. I find my mouth is parched in the mornings.
As for the chest, I have had a productive cough, that doesn't fit the norm for covid. My chest has been quite bad, especially coughing at night. I haven't been particularly wheezy or tight-chested.
Hi, think I have it too. I was tested 5 days ago and am waiting for results. I'm on day 20, no fever since evening of day 16. I've found that I'm up and down. Some days feel like I'm getting better and next day feel really bad. My o2 levels are steady and my peak flow reading is steady as well and much same as usual, very little wheeze. Today I'm very tight and it's like my lungs are "dry", sounds weird but it's the only way I think to describe it.
