I was diagnosed with late onset asthma two or three years ago but I very rarely have typical asthmatic symptoms. When I do get them it’s always as a result of a cold which causes a build up of mucus and resulting cough.
I read a post in the past week about someone with identical symptoms to me, including ground glass opacity in lungs (CT scan I think) and constantly having to clear her throat. This post mentioned doctors in America (? Ohio) who are treating these symptoms with a long course of some type of antibiotic.
I was sure I had the saved the post but apparently I didn’t (unless it’s been deleted) and I have searched and searched for it to no avail. I would really like to send it to my consultant who told me last time I was there that he didn’t think I have asthma at all! If you wrote it or saved it could you please share it with me again?
Thank you for reading. Merry Christmas to all .

Hi Catkay1, I read the post and replied and just noticed this morning it has been deleted, I don’t know why, but the person who wrote it has asked the question. Search recent posts and you may find her post asking why it was deleted. I am also adult onset asthma with lots of other issues so found her post very interesting. Best of luck.
