Baclofen and new meds

Hi wondering if anyone has any advice.

I have cough variant asthma brought on by temperature below 10 degrees. I saw professor Allyn Maurice just over a year ago (he’s a cough professor at Hull) he prescribed Baclofen which I now take (60mg per day) apparently it’s not easily tolerated, side effects are awful whilst building dosage up. I also take symbicort 200 X2 twice a day, montelukast plus an antihistamine to counteract hives caused by montelukast!

After a recent resp appointment at hospital (during my usual “good time “of year, when FeNo test was 89 was put on spiriva respimat, after 3 weeks and no improvement had Bloods which showed IgE was 235. Now been told to stop spiriva and been given Uniphyl 200mg twice a day.

Does anyone have experience with this combination of meds. Also, does anyone know if you can build up resistance to Baclofen as with recent colder temperatures it doesn’t seem to be having as much effect. My respiratory nurse was unable to help me with that as she said she’s never known anyone to tolerate it and take it for so long!

Any advice greatly received as we enter the colder weather!
