I’ve never been a smoker. I’m not overweight. I had a cat scan done and everything looks ok. Pulmonologist can only guess my lung obstruction is due to my mild scoliosis but I went to a spine surgeon and he says it’s not possible since I barely have scoliosis. I also have asthma which on montelukast, qvar and spiriva has only mildly improved my spirometry test. I also have mild hyperthyroidism but currently my levels are normal with meds. Does anyone have any feedback as to what could cause lung obstruction? The pulmonologist says I don’t have copd. My allergist doesn’t know what’s causing it either.

What can cause lung obstruction?
VCD can feel like a lung obstruction.
I've no idea. However, I think you need answers as 'lung obstruction' is too vague. You can trawl the internet for info and see if anything comes up, then ask the medics if it could be whatever you have found. I'm not keen on experts who just guess.
The usual answer where continuously detected obstruction relating to Asthma is concerned, is Airway Remodelling, Mucus or a combination of the two.
As both of these ‘causes’ are multi-faceted, it would take up too much space for a forum post. Therefore suggest you search Google for:
a) Asthma and Mucus
b) Asthma and Airway Remodelling
Temporary tightening of the chest experienced by Asthmatics is different to Permanent / Semi-permanent Airway Obstruction and, where allergic Asthma is concerned, may result from a response to an allergen.
Keep in mind that obstruction at the time of a lung function test may not necessarily mean that the obstruction detected will be at the same level next time you’re tested. It could reduce or increase over time, depending on it’s cause(s) and any changes in treatment, allergen exposure (where allergic Asthma has been identified) or other circumstances.
