Follow up Ct scan for existent nodule in one year time ?

Hi, I’ve just received a letter from doctor saying that they’ve found a non specific nodule when i had my scan done and it will require another scan in one year time .I’m thinking of the worst now, but as well why so long until next scan if they have no idea yet what kind of nodule it is ( non specific) ? I’m trying to encourage myself but since I received the letter I cannot sleep or do my every day things...looks like my health problems are getting bigger and bigger and I cannot keep my optimism any more...

You are making your life a misery! You should make an urgent appointment with your GP as soon as possible and talk with them about your problems, at the same time you could ask for a second opinion.

You could also contact the writer or secretary of the person at Guy's Hospital who wrote the letter and ask for a clearer explanation.
